Painting For Puerto Rico Wrap Up

Written by Eileen Gombosi, Beeman Art Teacher
A huge thank you to all who bid on the Painting for Puerto Rico furniture and everyone who supported the auction! Our Art service project raised a total of $566.50! That is surely a testimony of what a caring community we are part of. The money will go to “All Hands and Hearts”, an organization that has an excellent reputation in disaster relief and recovery, and uses almost 100% of every dollar donated to the actual relief programs.
Ms. Gombosi and all the 5/6 artists thank you!!!

Sculpture School

By Artist in Residence, Eddie Merma

Hi Friends!
This summer I’m offering a few special projects at Knoll Farm in Fayston, VT. Please consider joining us for the 4th of July Parade Float program where kids design and build a larger-than-life sculpture for the Warren Parade. At the end of July we will also be making Plastic Bottle Boats out of thousands of recycled bottles and taking our boats out on an adventure in the valley. All of our projects are opportunities for kids to unleash their imaginations and bring ideas to life. They will learn design, building and engineering skills in a hands-on and collaborative environment. To see a full list of offerings visit: www.sculptureschoolvt.com/upcoming.

If you are not able to afford the tuition fee please don’t let that be a reason not to sign-up. Reach out to me and we will figure it out. You can email me at eddie@sculptureschoolvt.com if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Eddie Merma
